Manager CareMore CM Operations

Targeting Connecticut or New York office locations

Responsible for providing leadership to all regions for both clinical and financial operational functions. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Manages and acts as an advisor, giving direction to all care management staff, resolving issues/problems as needed.

  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates the performance of direct reports.

  • Develops and implements organizational strategies, policies, and procedures.

  • Improves the operational system, processes, and policies in support of CareMore’s mission.

  • Manages and increases the effectiveness and efficiency of Care Management staff, through process improvements.

  • Serves as liaison between Care Management and other internal departments, health plan partners, and community partners (hospitals, community-based organizations, etc.).

  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates the performance of direct reports.

  • Assists in creating annual Case Management (CM) work plan, quarterly reports, and annual evaluations.

  • Participates in management team meetings and assists with leading team meetings.

Qualifications

  • Requires a BS/BA degree; 3-5 years of care management experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background

  • Requires a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Registered Nurse (RN) certification

  • 3 years of management or leadership experience is preferred

  • Current unrestricted RN or LMSW license in applicable state(s) is required
