Systems Analyst Advisor/Systems Analyst Sr Advisor

Responsible for defining and managing the scope of Business Systems projects.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Defines functional, usability, reliability, performance and support requirements of a system.

  • Creates and performs feature testing and determines environmental needs.

  • Provides the link between the technical and business views of the system by ensuring that the technical solutions being developed will satisfy the needs of the business.

  • Partners with business, architecture and infrastructure and oversees all service levels to ensure business area satisfaction

  • Perform Gap Analysis between current state and future state.

  • Develop and define use cases.

  • Serves as technical subject matter expert.

  • Responsibilities may also include serving as an expert in data analysis, reporting and formulating recommendations and providing guidance to other system analysts.

  • Data mapping, including the creation and maintenance of specifications; source to target mapping

  • Leads and guides discussion through the evaluation of current state processes.

  • Performs analysis to define opportunities to create improved future state workflows/solutions (end-to-end process flow development).

  • Creates and performs feature testing and determines environmental needs.

  • Be proactive and reactive to constant change. See the big picture and yet work through all the fine details needed.

  • Defines detail design components with high level architecture blueprints.

  • Coordinates integration activities to ensure successful implementation.

  • Ensures effective monitoring of systems.

  • Defines development strategy, standards and support tools.

  • Proactively works with stakeholders to identify future system opportunities and enhancements.

Qualifications

Systems Analyst Advisor

Required Qualifications

  • Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 6 years experience in a variety of technologies, documenting requirements and/or building test cases; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

  • Prior healthcare industry experience

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst certifications strongly preferred.

  • Knowledge of SQL Server

  • Experience with Rational tools, Six Sigma or other process improvement training strongly preferred.

  • Medicare/Medicaid applications experience

  • Strong analytical, organizational, presentation and problem solving skills.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills and experience interacting with business teams on a daily basis.

    Systems Analyst Sr Advisor

    Required Qualifications

  • Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 8 years experience in a variety of technologies, documenting requirements and/or building test cases; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

  • Prior healthcare industry experience

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst certifications strongly preferred.

  • Knowledge of SQL Server

  • Experience with Rational tools, Six Sigma or other process improvement training strongly preferred.

  • Medicare/Medicaid applications experience

  • Strong analytical, organizational, presentation and problem solving skills.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills and experience interacting with business teams on a daily basis.

  • Experience working with Clinical teams, Doctors, Nurses, Case Managers etc a big plus.
