Manager I Case Management-$4K Sign on Bonus Hours: Must be available to work between the hours of 8:00 am-7:00 pm; position will include evening/weekend/holiday hours. Must be able to accommodate a flexible schedule. Location: W@H position preferably in KY; If located outside of KY, must possess KY license RESPONBILITIES:
Responsible for managing a team of nurse managers who oversee both utilization review and case management. Position will be engaged in assessing, developing, implementing, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating care plans designed to optimize member health care across the care continuum and ensuring member access to services appropriate to their health needs. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Responsible for process improvement, quality assurance, and adherence to appropriate medical policy, care management best practices, relevant clinical standards, and member contract. Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports. QUALIFICATIONS: Requires BA/BS in a health related field and minimum of 5 years of clinical experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Current, unrestricted RN license in applicable state(s) required. Certification as a Case Manager is preferred. Managed Care experience required Experience in both utilization review and case management required Strong computer proficiency required
