As a Pega Unit Developer you will be involved in design, development, and unit testing of Pega PRPC (Pega Rules Process Commander), Pega strategic applications, and related infrastructure. You will be in direct contact with project managers, system architects, on- and off-shore team members as well as other engineers.
Responsiblefor developing and delivering Pega Unit Test solutions
DocumentPega Unit workflow and the technical design documentation.
Analyze,design and support implementation of business-specific Pega Unit development solutionsand/or frameworks
Demonstrateunderstanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Mentornew team members. Assign appropriate tasks to junior project team members,coach project team members, and provide guidance on Pega Unit test developmentbest-practices
Responsiblefor implementing technical solutions on Pega 7.X
Abilityto create reusable components that can be leveraged across the enterprise forproviding top-notch customer experience
Abilityto translate complex business requirement into functional technicalrequirements using PegaSystems methodology and DCO tools
Goodhands on implementing PEGA integration services using REST, SOAP, Email etc.
Goodunderstanding of PEGA new case management features.
Assistwith planning and execution of unit, integration, user acceptance testing andautomation testing using Selenium.
Provideregular updates to team lead and project manager on project progress andoutstanding issues.
Bachelor’sdegree in related field or equivalent work experience
Minimum3 years of professional experience developing solutions with JAVA or other OOPlanguage.
Experiencein Pega PRPC framework and hands-on experience with Pega Unit.
2+years of experience in Pega PRPC in a large corporate environment
Experiencewith process methodology, development methodologies (Agile, SDLC, and Iterative)strongly preferred.
Excellentobject-oriented analysis and design skills and system integration skills.
Experiencedesigning and developing Pega Unit on Pega PRPC version 7 platform.
Experiencein various rules and features like Flows, Activities, User Interface, Flow Actions,Agents, SLA, Correspondence, Single-Sign-On, External Authentication, PRPCSecurity, Reports, Listeners (File, MQ), Connectors and SOAP Services etc.
Experiencein full PRPC implementation cycle including enterprise Class Structure designand Rulesets design
Implementbest practices in PEGA architecture / design / coding
Abilityto work independently and as a member of a team
Abilityto work and communicate effectively with programmers and other IT staff andnon-IT functional areas
Strongcommunication, problem-solving skills
