Medical Management Specialist II

As a Medical Management Specialist II, you be responsible for providing administrative support to behavioral health case managers as well as our members and providers.

Here’s what a typical day may look like:

  • Using Excel spreadsheets as well as other software programs to coordinate and track referrels and other reports within the behavioral health case management department.

  • Maintain and updates tracking databases.

  • Prepare reports and documents all actions.

  • Respond to requests, calls or correspondence.

  • May assist with case referral process.

  • May collaborate with external community-based organizations.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Requires a high school diploma

  • 1 years of administrative and customer service experience with knowledge of managed care or Medicaid/Medicare concepts (or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background).

  • Strong computer skills are required - Excel, PowerPoint, Word

  • Bilingual is preferred.

  • For URAC accredited areas the following applies: Requires strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, problem-solving skills, facilitation skills, and analytical skills.
